It is with mixed feelings we are announcing that the Jesus Center in Denmark is officially closed.
If you had asked us 5 months ago if this would be a possibility we would’ve said definitely no. We thought the Jesus Center would be running for a long time. I knew that our time there as a family was going to be soon over, but we hoped that others will keep running it while we traveled and started other new centers around the world. But then in the beginning of January this year everything changed. Not only for us as a family, but also for the helpers at the Jesus Center. As many of you know, in the beginning of January we experienced a fierce attack through the Danish TV and our politicians who changed the laws in Denmark. They made it “a criminal offense” to cast out demons. Yes, you read it correctly. They set up a new law where you cannot do “deliverance” anymore. When we left Denmark the law was not voted in yet, but now it’s a law in effect as of the beginning of April.
All of these factors have contributed to the closing of the Jesus Center and implicitly everyone working there had to spread all over the world. It has been hard for all of us who left Denmark, but in the midst of it all we have seen Gods hand at work in a new way. And we are sure that something great will come out of this hard time.
Some weeks ago in a meeting in Florida, while I was speaking, the Holy Spirit came over a woman and she started to prophesy. It was her first time prophesying, which is so amazing, but the vision she saw was from the Holy Spirit. She saw a big tree that was cut down and after it fell down the leaves from the tree were spread everywhere by the wind and it created new fruit wherever the leaves were blown. And this is exactly what’s happening today. We are seeing how God is opening so many new doors in such amazing ways. This is truly a new beginning and I am sure that the others from the Jesus Center who left will experience the same. We will surely miss everyone from the Jesus Center but we know that God will use them everywhere they are sent out.
I would like to share a music video that was produced at the Jesus Center. This video stirs up many feelings. Feelings of joy and of sorrow. Joy, because of the amazing time and fruit we have seen together in so many peoples lives and sorrow, because our time together is now over. We really became a family at the Jesus Center.
For us, it is not about the building, but about the people. It’s about being a family and seeing lives changed. One of these families that had been with us the last year at the Center is Remon and Katja Van Der Kaaij from Holland. You can listen to their testimonies here:
Since we left Denmark at end of January they continued to help with the schools until it closed and it was a really good experience for them. During the school one of the places they went to serve was Poland. Here you can see a video about it:
What’s next?
We believe that out of this persecution new things will come just as the Lord declared through the prophetic word.
My family and I experienced God working like never before. In the last weeks we have seen amazing things. A few weeks ago I baptized a professional NFL America football player together with his household. Also, this weekend we had a Kickstart where 70 people got baptized and it was so powerful. We experienced everything we read in the Bible. We had tongues and interpretation, healing and deliverance, people repented and cried out to God for forgiveness. The Holy Spirit was there in an amazing way! Even though in the last months I felt weaker physically I haven’t felt as strong in Jesus and in His might as i did lately. It has been a long time since we have seen so many amazing testimonies. To God be all the glory!
In this next season I am taking some time off of Facebook to pray and fast about my family’s future. As I shared at the beginning of this letter the politicians have changed the laws in Denmark. It is really unbelievable and crazy to witnesses this, we believe we are truly living in the end times. We are in America right now looking at our options and seeking God in the meantime. I will hopefully know more in a month or two and I can finally share more. I really believe the Gospel will spread in America like never before! It’s awesome what God is doing. But please pray for us and the people from the Center in Denmark and that we will see Gods hand in all of this. We believe that many new centers will start in the future. I can already confirm that there will be a Luke 10 school in Canada from August 19th to October 19th. Our friends Olivier and Jolyane will run it together with an amazing team. We will put up more information on the website in a few days and give more details about it.
In 2-3 weeks we will also close down the TLR organization in Denmark and move things to America and Holland.
In the next newsletter I will give more information about the new laws in Denmark, how they will affect us, and the closing down of the organization The Last Reformation Denmark. This whole process has cost a lot of money and we really appreciate your support during this time. Thank you for your ongoing support!
If you would like to give, you can still do it here on the website.
If you are in America and you would like to contribute financially you can send a check to this address below. By doing that you can get a tax receipt.

Let’s stand together and see an even bigger breakthrough! This persecution is on a level we have never seen before. But we know why this is happening. It is happening because lives are being changed and we are making a big difference in the Kingdom of God! More and more people are hearing the true Gospel of Christ, they are stepping out in freedom and they are beginning to live this life wherever they are. The Kingdom of God is growing like never before and this is also something our enemy is noticing.
Jesus said that persecution will come in Matthew 10:16-20:
“I am sending you out like sheep among wolves. Therefore be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves. Be on your guard; you will be handed over to the local councils and be flogged in the synagogues. On my account you will be brought before governors and kings as witnesses to them and to the Gentiles.
But when they arrest you, do not worry about what to say or how to say it. At that time you will be given what to say, for it will not be you speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.”
So let’s rejoice and keep serving our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We love Him and we will follow Him no matter what the cost. If they persecute us in one city He tells us we should move to the next, or if they persecute us in one country we should move to the next one because the whole World needs to hear the Gospel.
But all in all, we are called blessed:
“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.
Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.
Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.
Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
“Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.
Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.” Matt 5:3-12
So thank to you all for your prayers and your support in a time like this. Keep in mind that there are many Kickstart events and schools all over the world, and you can find out where they are on the map www.TLRmap.com or at our Upcoming Events page.
Until next time, God bless you!
