5 – THE LEADING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT – Important for all of us

I love being led by the Holy Spirit. That’s so important for all of us as believers. In this video we talk about this and share testimonies to help you to experience even more of this!

Let’s start by reading the intro to this chapter:

“The Holy Spirit wants to be as big a part of our everyday lives as He was in the lives of the first disciples. He wants to guide us, work through us, and make it so that there are no differences between our lives and the lives of the first disciples we read about in the book of Acts.”

The Holy Spirit is here to help you, to guide you, to lead you to the truth, and to remind you of every word Jesus has spoken!

When we look at Luke chapter 10, we read this in the beginning:

After these things the Lord appointed seventy others also, and sent them two by two before His face into every city and place where He Himself was about to go. (Luke 10:1)

Jesus sent them to the city and places where He Himself wanted to go.

At that time, Jesus was walking physically on earth. Now He’s not. He’s in Heaven, but He did not leave us alone. He sent His Holy Spirit instead to guide us (His new body) to go where we want to go. Just like Jesus wanted to go to different cities at that time, we want to meet people today!

I truly believe that what we read in the book of Acts is the same…. the work of the apostles is also the work of the Holy Spirit!

Let’s read from my book:

“All the way through the book of Acts, we read how the Holy Spirit worked through the first disciples. He was a big part of their life, as it was He who was leading them. In the book of Acts, we read things like, ‘For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit, and to us’ (Acts 15:28), ‘So, being sent out by the Holy Spirit’ (Acts 13:4), and ‘they were forbidden by the Holy Spirit’ (Acts 16:6).”

I truly believe it should be like that today. Where do we read this kind of talk today?

“For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit….”
“Being sent out by the Holy Spirit…” and
“Forbidden by the Holy Spirit…”
