Today is the 26th of January
– a day that will always stand very sharp in our memory – as January 26th three years ago was the day we set our feet on American soil after going through a crazy time of persecution in Denmark
– with being on national TV almost every day for a whole month – with a law being changed – and with threats about taking away our kids and going to jail. Yes! That was an experience which will always sit very deep in us. If you don’t know the details, I put some links in here where you can hear the story – one that’s a longer video about our experience, and another that’s a shorter one from CBN.

Now, three years later we are here, still waiting for an interview about our asylum case, which means that we still don’t know if we can remain in America, and that while we are waiting we are not able to travel.
There is so much to say about it, emotionally – about being away from our country – and being away especially from our family, which is clearly the hardest part in all of this – to not, as of right now, be able to see our son, daughter-in-law, and three amazing grandkids.
But at the same time, it has been a beautiful journey, and we feel so much at home here, and we are excited about what God is doing in America while we are still longing to be able to travel again and spread the Gospel to other parts of the world.
I will go LIVE today at 12:00pm PST, where I will share more about my journey, and I will also talk about the difference between Europe and America and what I have learned these last years. For all our friends in Europe – America is so different, and it’s so difficult to understand if you don’t live here. But I will share more about that at 12:00pm PST.
If you are not able to join us LIVE, then come back later and follow the program on Facebook or YouTube, because I think this is going to bless many of you out there, and encourage you in what God is doing all over the world!
I will end this post by saying to all of our new American friends – we love you guys, and we are thankful to have been given the opportunity to get to know all of you! We are thankful to see what God has done in America these last years, which is just so beautiful!
But there’s still a work that needs to be done in America and in the rest of the world, and I also have a frustration about that which I will share more about later.
But God bless you all out there!
Thank you all for the friendship!
Thank you all for your prayers and your support to me and my family, because as many of you know it is not easy to leave your country and all you know, in the way we had to.
When I go LIVE today, come and join also with your questions, as there will be good time to answer questions from all of you out there!
The picture here was taken at the airport after we had just arrived in America. It was also the first time I was eating in January after fasting the whole month.
You can see the joy in our faces after finally arriving to a new beginning!
Big blessings to all of you!
