I came to know the Lord when I was 30 years old. I was out of work, and I joined a direct sales company to build up a sales network and earn commission selling products. The person who signed me up gave me several self help books, including The Wisdom of Winning. I found this book very interesting because it talked about God. For the first time in my life, I picked up a Bible and started reading it. I found amazing wisdom there and saw the foolishness in my own life. I began to love the truth and started reading it every day. I became fascinated with Jesus.
As my life changed, I found a job and got married. We started going to a Christian Church. I saw that people in this church were getting Baptized. I didn’t see the need for this as I was Baptized as a baby, but I felt God telling me it was something I needed to do.
Some years later, I was frustrated because I wasn’t seeing the power of God in my life. Then I saw some TLR videos where people were getting healed on the streets after short and powerful prayers. I was amazed by this and wanted to get involved. I realized wasn’t Baptized in the Holy Spirit.
I met up with a few disciples through the TLR map. They prayed for me so I would receive the Holy Spirit. We then went out on the streets of Mullingar, praying for people and telling them about Jesus. I really enjoyed it and couldn’t wait to meet up with them again.

We want Christianity to go back to the New Testament and the life we read about in the Book of Acts. We need to go out and preach the gospel, heal the sick, cast out demons and be led by the Holy Spirit as we read there. It’s time we start obeying Jesus’ words and make disciples of all nations.
