This teaching about the cross of Christ will be an eye-opener for many. You will see that when we talk about the cross, we often stop too early. Christ did not simply rise and then disappear; the cross is not only about the restoration of Christ, as He is the firstfruits. It points to the restoration of all of us when He returns. I truly love the cross, and I know we all do. However, we must understand that the cross is behind us and points to the return of Christ and our resurrection, which lie ahead. May this understanding be significant in your eyes. Once you see it this way, you can never unsee it. This perspective will help you run the race with endurance and finish strong.
