Released from Jail Two Years Ago – Counting the Cost and Following Christ, Seeing Much Fruit

Today marks two years since my release, and it remains a significant part of my life in many ways. Before my time in jail, I didn’t like peanut butter and jelly, but I ended up eating it for breakfast every morning because there was nothing else. Now that I’m out, I still eat peanut butter and jelly, but this time with hot coffee instead of lukewarm shower water!

Many things have changed, and it has cost a lot to follow Christ. I want to take this opportunity to talk about the cost of discipleship, but also the amazing fruit that comes from it.

Let’s be people who are not just focused on our struggles but also on the beautiful rewards that come from our faith.
Thank you all for your prayers and love.

about tlr

We believe that what we read in the book of Acts is also for today and that we need to come back to the simple disciple life the first Christians had.
