We were in town praying for healing. We met a guy: after a fight outside a nightclub he had ended up in a coma for three weeks. When he came round that’s when he first noticed the chest pain. Doctors weren’t able to tell him what the problem was, or resolve the pain.
He told us he had spent thousands of pounds over the years to get rid of his chest pain, but nothing had worked. We challenged him to try Dr Jesus – what did he have to lose? We also pointed out it was FREE!
He sat down in the chair. At the outset, on a scale of 0 to 10 his pain level was a 7. After a couple of minutes with us (and Jesus) it had gone down to a 5. We persevered, commanding the pain to go in Jesus’ name and minutes later he reported it was now a 3.
Soon afterwards it was gone. He said he felt like there was a “pleasant buzzing feeling” going round his body. We told him that was God at work.

We want Christianity to go back to the New Testament and the life we read about in the Book of Acts. We need to go out and preach the gospel, heal the sick, cast out demons and be led by the Holy Spirit as we read there. It’s time we start obeying Jesus’ words and make disciples of all nations.
